Re: Council for Excellence in Government's E-Government Fellows Programs

Included in the packet you received at the CIO Council offsite this week was information about the Council for Excellence in Government's E-Government Fellows Programs. This Fellows Program is an e-government training opportunity for career managers throughout the federal government, which has the results oriented, citizen centered focus of the President's Management
Agenda.

The Council for Excellence in Government is now recruiting applicants for their E-Government Fellows Programs and would like you to encourage your up and coming people to apply. The CIO Council could also use the program as a strategic method for investing in a cadre of people so that we could soon realize a larger pool of e-government leadership talent.

Many of you know the Council well from their work with political appointee orientation, the Innovations in American Government Awards, and their blueprint: "E-Government: the Next American Revolution". You can learn more about the Excellence in Government Fellows Program and the E-Government Fellows Program online at www.excelgov.org

Thank you for your consideration of this excellent opportunity.
