Abstract: Documentation supporting the release of the foundational layer of the Federal Enterprise Architecture - the Business Reference Model (version1.0). The BRM describes the Government Lines of Business independent of which organization performs these operations. The BRM identifies three primary business areas that provide a high-level overview of the operations of the Federal Government: Services to the Citizen; Support Delivery Services; and Internal Operations and Infrastructure.
