Abstract: In this 233 page report to Congress the Commerce Department reviews the landscape of Education and Training for the Information Technology Workforce. The purpose is to provide policymakers in government, education, and business with useful information as they develop education and training policies and programs designed to ensure a world-class IT workforce for the United States. Topics include "What Do Employers Want?", "The IT Education and Training Landscape", "Role of Employers and Workers in Meeting the Demand for IT Skills".
