Abstract: The U.S. Access Board will hold two meetings. These meetings will take place

During the morning... from 9:30 to Noon the Board will be holding a hearing on its Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to update sections of its ADA Accessibility Guidelines for Transportation Vehicles that cover access to buses and vans which was published on July 26, 2010.
During the afternoon... from 1:30 to 4:30 the Board is pleased to be joined by members of the Federal Government's Chief Information Officers Council and Chief Acquisition Officers Council in holding the first in a series of "listening sessions" on the implementation of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act to consider how the Federal government can improve access to electronic and information technology for persons with disabilities.
